Computer Support Specialist
We are looking for technical skilled candidates with good problem solving abilities. Team members are expected to display good interpersonal skills as they will interact with clients from several businesses and different levels of management. They are required to listen to their technical needs, understand their problems and implement solutions to them.
IT Technician Responsibilities:

Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.

Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
-
Ensuring electrical safety standards are met.

Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
-
Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers.

Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level.

Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.
-
Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting.

Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.

Conducting daily backup operations.

Managing technical documentation.

Respond to customer tickets in a timely manner
Qualifications:
-
A self-starting individual who possesses an Associate Degree in Computer Information Systems and knowledge of Windows environments.

Technical aptitude and able to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to diagnose and resolve technical computer-related problems
Strong technical knowledge of computers and computer applications as well as practical knowledge of cells phones and other technology products
Good verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work in a stressful environment
High degree of mental concentration -
CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or CompTIA Security+ accreditation are advantageous.
